Hey.. I know I don't go on much but I have a busy summer ahead of me. Luckily, I'm able to fit some reading time to myself. Today I had my transfer orientation for college and I was bored out of my mind so I ended up reading most of the time whenever I had to wait for my adviser o finish talking to another student. Out of 20 students, I was number 18 to be called to talk about my classes and other stuff. It was bad enough I had to wake up so early just to beat the Monday traffic but after my meeting, I got lost a bit and I missed the free lunch the campus provides! I was just glad picked me up so I could take a nap in the car on the way home :)

Anyways if you want to read something short and sweet read Kate Perry's Laurel Heights Series. She pulls you in on her first book and then you just keep on reading book after book just to find out who the other women is going to end up with. Not only that, the books are cute, funny and just hard to put down. They always put a smile on my face. My absolute favorite so far is Dream of You. I admit when I saw this cover, I thought this book wouldn't compare to the others but i was TOTALLY WRONG! This book is the best one in the series so far. It's basically about a romantic author who falls in love with a radio DJ and his daughter. I have to say the daughter is what got me, I would always reread her lines because she was so adorable and the epitome of daddy's little princess but not in a bratty and selfish way. There's also a minor plot about a tech savvy turned barista who wants to have a child and sets her sights on a man who she thinks is the perfect candidate to be her sperm donor. The barista may not be the the main character but she's hard to ignore because of her personality and lack of subtlety with her words ;) I'm currently reading Tamed by You which had my undivided attention but it doesn't give me the same reaction and emotions I felt when I read Dream of You. Either way, go read this series!
